An episode full of laughter because my guest came from the happiest place on earth indeed! Esther has an infectious laugh and I really enjoyed my short chat with her when she took me through her journey to leadership development.
Like so many other leaders, she was at the height of her career when she lost her passion for the job and lose sight of what she really wants. With no one to lean on and develop her capabilities, she tried various stuff while trying to find her passion - which eventually led her to create her own company to help others elevate themselves to become better leaders.
Some great takeaways from Esther:
- Look for your passion
- Work is not so complex because of the work, it's because of the people
- Be open to change to lead better
- Elevate your behaviour to elevate your organization
- Know where you center is
- Business is the catalyst for changing our planet
- Be a voice
- Create a dignity zone for yourself
