Karen Edwards is the Director of the Ossur Women's Leadership Initiative and a Senior Area Manager for Prosthetics at Ossur. She has worked in the Orthotics and Prosthetics profession in a sales capacity since 2006. Prior to that she was a media buyer for 13 years in the advertising industry.

Karen was born and raised in North Carolina and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

She has published several professional articles related to women in the O&P profession. In 2018, Karen was awarded the OPGA Woman of the Year Award for her work advocating for women in O&P.

Karen now lives in Phoenix, Arizona and loves exploring the beautiful Southwest.
