Ep#146 | The Ripple Effect: Changing Inner Worlds, Transforming the Environment

Challenging Gender Labels: Embracing Unique Strengths and Making an Impact

My guest in this podcast episode is a wonderful friend of mine and a fellow change-maker, Gido Schimanski.

Gido is a coach who works with individuals in the public eye or under immense pressure, such as footballers, musicians, film stars, and CEOs. He delves into the conditioning and mindset of each individual, mainly focusing on their beliefs about themselves. Gido believes it is important not to believe everything we think, especially about ourselves, as conditioned minds influence our thoughts. He emphasizes the need to question our beliefs and take a step back to see the situation from an outside perspective.

He suggests setting an intention before every action to guide the outcome. Gido also advocates for starting the day by taking time to calibrate oneself before being bombarded by the agendas of others. By doing so, individuals can start their day on their own track and maintain control over their actions and reactions.
